Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
Lanai Road PTA’s mission is to strengthen the natural bond and enhance the essential partnership between parents and teachers at Lanai Road Elementary School; to develop and nourish the academic and cultural character and integrity of the school; and to develop programs, events, activities and forums to deepen the dialogue between teachers and parents such that teachers receive the support they need, parents receive the feedback they seek, and students receive the enriched educational experience they deserve.
Objectives of PTATo promote the welfare of children and youth in the home, school, church and community. To raise the standards of home life. To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth. To develop the educators and the general public in such united efforts as will secure for every child the highest advantage in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.
Team MeetingsTeam Meetings are open to everyone and are held six times a year at 8:30 a.m. You can find the meeting dates on the Lanai Road “Parent Square” calendar. All PTA Team Meetings are held pursuant to the provisions of the Civic Center Act. All Lanai parents are automatically PTA members through your contribution of classroom funds.
